Supro's 1695T Black Magick is replicated to emulate the amp Jimmy Page put in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This amp is based on a 1959 Supro Corinado 2X10. Supro took out the baffle a replaced the 10 speakers with their own custom 12 inch speakers made specially for the Black Magick. They have a huge magnet and a British cone, and an absolute top-of-line suspension. The Supro Black Magick has up to 12 db more gain then any of their other amps, the reason is beacause there are only two channels in parallel, but only one shared tone control. As many amp enthusiasts know passive tone controls that were used in many of the old tube amps actually load the signal quite a bit so the dual tone and the Corinado or other amps that have two channels each channel has it own independent tone control. However back in the 50's they did volume, volume, tone where the two preamps are added together and they go into a shared tone control and less circuitry equals a lot more gain. This amp has tremendous dynamic range. You can the amps volume knob to completely control the texture. It has the famous Supro output tube tremolo. The Magick has 25 watts of classic american sound.
