DOD G7 Rack Effects Processor Without power supply
DOD's G7 is a rack-mounted multi-effects signal processor and guitar preamp offered at a price point unmatched for its features. The processor utilizes analog compression and two analog distortion types, overdrive and Grunge(TM).
The effects set includes an all-DSP noise gate, two-band parametric EQ, modulation section, 500-millisecond two-tap delay and reverb. Modulation types available include chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, detuner and one octave up/down pitch shifter. The G7 has 30 factory presets and 30 user programs.
A LCD window displays program information while LEDs indicate signal and clipping. The processor also will respond to MIDI program change messages and has jacks for a FS300 three-button footswitch and a pair of headphones.
The DOD G7 utilizes an 16-bit A/D/A resolution and features a ultra-low THD of .003 percent. Operating on nine volts of AC current, the unit has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 16 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of -87 dB.
