The 805 Overdrive from Seymour Duncan is a versatile overdrive pedal capable of delivering a wide range of tones to complement any style of music, from just adding a subtle boost to full overtones and harmonically rich, heavy gain with warm tube character. This classic overdrive pedal was designed using the legendary 808 chip as a starting point, but offers an expanded gain range and 3-band active EQ that is not commonly found in typical 808-style overdrive pedals.

The 805 pedal utilizes a glass diode (MC33178) circuit to provide lush overdrive with a warm, natural tonal character and amp-like touch sensitivity. With the gain control turned down, the pedal serves up a smooth, lyrical overdrive. Push the gain for full modern metal crunch. Additionally, the 3-band active EQ allows you to fine-tune your tone, so you can easily scoop out the mids, and ensure your sound has a tight bottom end and sparkling highs with detailed note articulation.
